It seems we finally have to tug our liberal forelocks at august moral guardians such as the Daily Mail, Indiana University School of Medicine and Hilary Clinton and agree that video games and violence are linked.

In a novel approach to Mexico City's drug violence problem, the local police are offering a free Xbox to any reforming ne'er-do-well's who hand in their guns. Suddenly all the gun runners, pimps and crack dudes disappear indoors to take up healthy GTA inspired pursuits like err drug dealing, gun running and pimping.

Considering the price of new consoles these days, we're all off to buy guns and cheap return tickets to Mexico.
